It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shelia Kay Heifner (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Owensboro, Kentucky, who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Brey and Priscilla Ann Brey (Aud); and her brothers, Stevie Brey and David Brey. She is survived by: her husband Rick Heifner; her children, Ricky Heifner and April Heifner; her brothers, Robert "Bobby" Brey and Todd Brey; her niece Amanda Daniels (Matt); her nephews, Jarrett Brey (Emilee), Wilson Brey and Jonathan Heifner (Amanda); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Bellamy Brey, Addison Brey, Aubrey Brey, Holden Brey, Copeland Brey, Jett Heifner, Evie Daniels, Kitty and Bea.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Shriner's Hospital for Children, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, Kentucky 40508 or Kosair Children's Hospital, 4123 Dutchmans Lane, Louisville, Kentucky 40207.
