Ruth Ann Brown Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Brown (Georgetown, Kentucky), who passed away on February 9, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Billy Boyd Brown; and her parents, William Wade and Emma Lee Marsh Wade. She is survived by: her children, Lawona Brown (Charles Ray, Jr), Monica Jacobs (Chris), Mary Alethea Turner, Jessica Ruth Brown, Leslie Brown (Cindy), Kelyn Brown (Rachel), Douglas Clay Brown (Robin), Frederick Brown (Diana), Zenos Boyd Brown and Godwin Garuba of Africa; her goddaughter Scarlett Nicole Ohnheiser; and her close friend Spencer Hanson. She is also survived by thirty-three grandchildren; seventy-four great-grandchildren, twenty great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Johnson's Funeral Home (641 S Broadway St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A burial was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at the Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery (1879 Lexington Rd, Georgetown, KY 40324).
