With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Ann Payton (Georgetown, Kentucky), who passed away on January 3, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harry "Sonny" Richard Payton; her parents, Sidney Billings and Jeanette Mae Morgan Billings; her daughter Sandra Kay Washburn; and her granddaughter Jami Whitley Turner.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Allen (Phillip), Richard Payton, Jim Payton (Debbie), Joe Payton (Joanie) and Steve Payton; her grandchildren, Shannon Mills (Kenny), Leanne Payton, Amy Siewert (Drew), Daniel Payton (Erica), Kristy Payton, Joseph Payton (Andie), Patrick Franzenburg (Kelsey), Payton Thurmond, Trenton Allen (Whitney), Tucker Allen, Chase Allen and Logan Allen; her great grandchildren, Erick Mills, Jacob Mills (Rachael), Emilee VanZandt, Natilee VanZandt, Megan Siewert, Mason Siewert, Makenzie Payton, Alyssa Clapsaddle (Emmet), Alexis Payton, Bryana Hitchcock, Makayl Figgs, Liam McBeath, Kenna Whitley, Jayden Whitley, Rylee Franzenburg, Maddie Franzenberg and Jaxon Grimes; her great great grandchild Adeline Mae Mills; and her caregivers, Pauline Carroll and Brenda Stroup.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home (320 W Main St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
