It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Earl Flynn Jr. (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on March 27, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Earl and Mamie Hazel Sudduth Flynn, Sr.; and his brothers, Ron Flynn and Ted Flynn. He is survived by: his wife Marie Whalen Flynn; his children, Jon Flynn (Karen) and Sharon Leach (Daniel); his grandchildren, Tiffany Hudson (Nate), Tara Wagoner (Andrew) and Cameron Flynn (Allie); his brothers, Ernie Flynn (Ruth) and Larry Flynn (Jeanie) of Boston, MA; and his sisters-in-law, Jody Flynn and Pam Flynn. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial donations are suggested to Parkway Baptist Church, 1915 N. Broadway, Lexington, KY 40505.
