He is survived by: his children, Ralph C. Covington, Donald Covington "Ernie", Alan Covington, Carlotta Wilson, Randall Covington and Rowan Covington; and his siblings, Edna Ligon and David Covington. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
