It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Peggy Sue McFarland of Georgetown, Kentucky, who passed away on November 4, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Harper and Opal Wittekind; and her daughter Kathy McFarland of Georgetown Kentucky. She is survived by: her husband Gayle McFarland; her children, Susan Maxsween (Al) of Miami Florida and Jeff McFarland (Rhonda) of Georgetown Kentucky; her siblings, Cecil Harper (Barbara) of Lampasses Texas, Sandra K Pribble of Georgetown Kentucky and LeeAnn Napier (Doug) of Lexington Kentucky; her grandchildren, Kimberly McFarland of Georgetown, Tabatha Tackett (John) of Georgetown, Denise McFarland of Georgetown, Caleb McFarland (Katelyn) of Georgetown, John Maxsween Imperial (Monica) and Jessica Maxsween; and her great grandchildren, Ian of Georgetown, Anna of Georgetown, Isaac Tackett of Georgetown, Ryleigh of Georgetown, Charlie Patrick of Georgetown, Josie of Georgetown and Holden McFarland of Georgetown. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family, church family and a host of friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Georgetown Church of the Nazarene (726 Lemons Mill Rd, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
