He was predeceased by: his parents, Hughes Freels and Gloria Freels (Schumacher). He is survived by: his wife Carla Freels (Clem); his son Kyle Freels; his daughter-in-law Alison Freels (Collier); his grandchildren, Korbin Freels and Khloe Freels; his sister Janet (Freels); his brother-in-law Tim Pruitt; his sister Joan (Freels); and his brother-in-law Jack Hancock. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
