She was predeceased by: her mother Bettie Mae; her daughter Edna La-Verne Jones; her siblings, Bobbye Cabell and William L. Black, Jr.; and her close friend Ira J. Franklin.
She is survived by: her grandson Travis Vincent Warren Campbell (Casey Palmer); her sisters, Patricia Ann Black, Diane Black, Pamela Black-Davis (Anthony) and Marlene Black Johnson; her siblings-in-law, Dianna Black and Posey Cabell; and her nieces and nephews, Monica Cabell, Karen McNary (Keith), Antimony Bishop, Bryan Black (Katie), Miakesha Sidney and Maya Johnson. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Georgetown First United Methodist Church (1280 Lexington Rd, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Crestlawn Memorial Cemetery (1879 Lexington Rd, Georgetown, KY 40324).
