He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bidwell and Frances Bidwell (Peckovitch). He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Bidwell (Arleen), Micheal Bidwell (Bill), Carol Brown (Don) and Mary Bidwell; his nephews, David Sutherland (Donna) and Matthew Bidwell (Cassey); and his close friend Randy Hillstrand.
