She was predeceased by: her parents, Neppoleon "Nep" Hargis and Maggie Baker Hargis; her son Ron King; and her siblings, Allan, Bill, Jim, George, Edward, Clyde, Arthur Hargis, Othena Brown, Ella Davis and Nancy Skidmore.
She is survived by: her spouse Dale L. Smith of Georgetown; her sons, Don King (Deb) of Mannford, Randy King, Joe King (Kim) of Danville and Marshall King (Michelle) of Nicholasville, Kentucky.; her stepchildren, Deana Andrew, Donna Taylor (Terry) of Indiana and Dale Lee Smith (Cindy) of Alabama; her grandchildren, Justin King, Ashley King, Jaylin King and Gabe King; her great grandchild Levi Newland; and her friend Martha Grigsby.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Tucker, Yocum & Wilson Funeral Home (320 W Main St, Georgetown, KY 40324). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Georgetown Cemetery (710 S Broadway St, Georgetown, KY 40324).
