She is survived by: her parents, James D. Bersot and Martha Bersot (Sebastian); her pet Speck; her sister Heather Bersot of Charlotte; her godmother Bonna Covington; and her daughters, Susan Sutherland and Renée Stakelin. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
