He was predeceased by: his son Jonah Kane; and his parents, Claudia Jean Grimes (Williamson) and Larry Gene Grimes. He is survived by: his pets, Meric, Paisan and Cash; his wife Catherine Grimes (Huhn); his daughter Isabella Grimes; his stepchildren, Sara Jager Warfield (Derek), Julie Jager (Jon Leicht), Nicholas Jager (Rachel) and Robert Macmillan; his grandchildren, Elijah Warfield, Luna Warfield and Sophie Jager; and his siblings, Michael Grimes (Connie Wallace), James Grimes, Larri Housh (Jay) and Triniti Perkins (Kedric). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
