He was predeceased by: his parents, Steven William Gilbert and Linda Sue Noble Rice. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Ann Gilbert; his daughters, Ambrosia Contreras (Alejandro) and Elizabeth Diaz (Pedro); his siblings, Johnny Johnson, Jerry Frizzell, Holley Frizzell and Tammy Frizzell; and his grandchildren, Daniela Contreras, Chloe Contreras, Jasmine Diaz, Selena Diaz and Tereza Diaz.
