It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Martin Reed (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Lexington, Kentucky, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Martin and Bertha Kemper Reed. He is survived by: his children, Diane Reed Jones (David Jones) and Phillip Martin Reed; his grandsons, Joshua Hentrich Reed and Andrew Logan Jones (Ashley); his friend Virginia Nester; and his pet Sweetie Girl. He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Georgetown Baptist Church, Georgetown College or Bluegrass Hospice Care.
