He was predeceased by: his father George Walker "Red" Jones; his sister Betty Lou Jones; his brother-in-law Charles Jones; and his nephew Daryl Jones. He is survived by: his mother Ida Mae Miller Hockensmith; his wife Evalena Vest Jones; his daughters, Melissa Perry (Brian), Kelly Jones-Young (Patrick) and Sharon Stacy Donathon (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Megan Hughes-Nixon (Cameron), Daniel Isaiah King, Shelby Houston, Letha Stacy Smith and April Stacy Cade; and his great grandchild Presley Salazar.
