With profound sadness, we say goodbye to John Henry Fitch Jr. (Georgetown, Kentucky), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Savage Fitch and John Henry Fitch, Sr.; his wives, Norma Fitch (Williamson) and Charlotte; and his siblings, Eddie Blackburn, Melissa Frances Riegel, Ann Justice and Ada Banks.

He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Cook of Georgetown, John Micheal Fitch (Jennifer) of Lexington and Leigh Ann Underhill (Rob) of New Albany, Indiana; his grandchildren, Bryan Cook, Robbie Cook, Chris Cook, Austin Fitch (Leah), Jordan Fitch, Monica Rowland (Bryce), Ellen Breitwieser (Josh) and Emma Robinson; and also Ruth McGraner of Chillicothe, Ohio.. He is also survived by his 18 great-grandchildren; his 2 great, great grandchildren.

His leadership with the Foundation provided the much-needed support to build the Japanese Friendship Garden, Yuko-En, start the Georgetown Kite Festival, and expand the exchange with Tahara City.
