It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joe Marion Houston (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Paris, Kentucky, who passed away on September 25, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sam Kenny Houston and Margaret Plunkett Houston; and his siblings, Charles Baron Houston, John Kenney Houston, Mary Margaret Smith, Sally Eggleston and Marlyn Kenney Mall.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia; his children, Kenneth Houston, Jason Houston, Joe Houston Jr. and Josie Dailey; his brother Sam Kenny Houston; and his grandchildren, Lynn and Shelby Eades.
