It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn Tungate Lyons (Georgetown, Kentucky), who passed away on January 20, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Hayden Lyons; her parents, Harry Tungate and Bernice Crupper Marshall (Harry); and her sister Brenda Kay Beckon. She is survived by: her sons, James Gregory Lyons (Mary Ellen) and Steven Scott Lyons (Wendie); her sister Rebecca Beckham (Ted); her grandchildren, Tom Lyons (Nicole), Jon Lyons, Kaytee Lyons, Hayden Lyons and Macie Lyons; her great grandchildren, Luca Lyons-Diaz, Sofia Lyons-Diaz and Arlin Lauderback; and her brother-in-law Paul Beckon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Porter Christian Church.
