He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald R. Jefferson and Wanda Abnee Jeffferson; his sons, Jerome "Little Jay" Jefferson and Richard Jefferson; and his brothers, Tyrone and Mike Jefferson.
He is survived by: his children, Ashly Soper and Joseph "JoeJoe" Jefferson (Olivia); his grandchildren, Alexsis (Cameron), Brayden, Tigg, Gracin, Carson, Adrian, Gabe, Callan and Carrington; and his siblings, Terry, Nikki, Missy and Barbara. He is also survived by the love of his life and greatest friend.
