He was predeceased by: his parents, Ann Patrick Black and Arbie Arnett; his aunt Hazel Brashear; and his uncles, Paul Patrick, C. F. Salyer (Chub) and Jerry Salyer.
He is survived by: his significant other Kathy "Earlene" Hawkins; his son Robert Forest Arnett Stahl; his brothers, Timothy Clarence Black of Louisville and Greg Arnett of Salyersville; his aunts, Lou Johnson of Jeffersonville, June Crace (Mitchell) of Chesapeake and Virginia Maffett of Georgetown; his niece Kate Elizabeth Black; and his nephews, Carson Thomas Black, Zachary Arnett, Galvin Blake Arnett and Byson Heath Arnett. He is also survived by cousins across his large family.
