It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Courtney Nichols (Georgetown, Kentucky), who passed away on May 29, 2018, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Courtney and Betty Crutchfield Courtney; her husband Elmer F. Nichols; and her siblings, Vernon Courtney, Jr., Samuel H. Courtney, Alma Louise Tilton, Mary Francis Shepherd and Vera Mae Craycraft.
She is survived by: her sons, Troy Nichols (Marilyn) of Georgetown, KY and Donald Nichols (Brenda); her siblings, Pauline Weber (Carl) of Nonesuch, KY, Phyllis Kyle (Pete), Betty Tillett (Billy Ray) and Oliver Wayne Courtney (Linda) of Versailles, KY; her grandchildren, Gregory Scott Nichols (Michelle Ann) of Georgetown, KY and Britney Paige; and her great grandchildren, Emily Kate Nichols and Natalie Gail Brooke Walsh.
