He is survived by: his wife Lorrelle Hughes Lewis; his daughter Katrinka; his son-in-law Phillip Howard of Stamping Ground; his brothers, Cecil Lewis (Nancy) and John Lewis (Jeannie) of Georgetown; and his grandchildren, Coltin, Loren and Ethan Howard of Stamping Ground, Kentucky..

In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation to be made to the American Heart Association, 354 Waller Ave #110, Lexington, KY 40504.
