It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Jameson Glass Lyons (Georgetown, Kentucky), who passed away on September 18, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Ray Lyons; her parents, Buford Earl and Frances Lancaster Glass; her son Darrell Ray Lyons; her granddaughter Ashley Renee Lyons; her son Landon Abner Lyons; her grandsons, Jarrett Ray Lyons, Sr. and Darrell Alan Lyons; and her great grandchild Jachin Axton Giles.
She is survived by: her granddaughter Janice Carol Lyons Hockensmith; her children, Buford Scott Lyons (Theresa) and Janice Hockensmith (Steve); her grandchildren, Stacy Lyons, Candace Mullins (Jeremy), Megan Howard (Mike), Christopher Lyons (Kerri), Howard Hockensmith, Sherman Thomas Hockensmith, Cathy Chasteen, Presly Lyons and Dylan Lyons; her great grandchildren, Cameron Howard, Cora Howard, Cody Howard, Jarrett Ray Lyons, Jr., Chelsa Hockensmith, Brooklyn Hockensmith, Grace Mullins, Jonathan Mullins, Micah Mullins and Payton Carey; and her grandchildren, Dean House, Dave Jacobs and Wallace Wilson.
