He was predeceased by: his parents, R. C. Collins and Sarah Henson Collins; and his brothers, B. C. Collins, Charlie Collins, Eugene Collins and Marcum Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Halfhill Collins; his children, Eric Collins, Steven Collins (Hope), Jason Collins (Emma), Nathan Collins, Sandi Goodrich (Roger), Jacklyn Butler (David) and Rachel House (Jeremy); and his siblings, Frank Collins (Sally), Johnny Collins and Virgie Ruth (Roy). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
