“I don't know if this is the David McCord I knew many years ago, as a fellow student at Georgia State University, in Atlanta, Georgia. If so, I would like to acknowledge that David was a wonderful, caring, brilliant, gentle human. This David Mccord, wrote poetry. I'm blessed to have been given two beautiful poems, that he authored. I regret not having known him better than I did. I still have the printed poems, he wrote. He typed them and gave them to me. They are treasured.”
