He is survived by: his sister Tammy Smith (Robert) of Rogers, Kentucky; his nieces and nephews, Lori Smith (Tyler Huff), Robert Smith (Courtney), Brady Smith (Stormy) and Aubrey Smith; his great-niece Blakley Smith; his great-nephews, Colby Smith, Grayson and Alden Stringfield; and his aunt Anita Duncan of Georgetown.
