It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darlene Drake (Georgetown, Kentucky), born in Sterling, Nebraska, who passed away on June 8, 2022, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband John Edwin Drake; her parents, Johnny Powell and Margaret Powell (Walker); and her siblings, Ruth Doeden, Darrell Powell and Richard Powell.
She is survived by: her children, Cherie Broz (Dave), John "Johnny" E. Drake II (Kay), Lori Drake and Mary Davis (Richard); her grandchildren, Christi Fiers (Brad), Joey Elam (Sarah), Andi Davis and Ashley Mertz (Lance); and her great grandchildren, Isabella Fiers, Aiden Fiers, Caitlyn Fiers, Juliette Fiers, Mabel Fiers, Nate Davis, Mulatu Davis, Caius Elam and Cora Elam. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
