He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles W. Bruin and Betty Carol Glass Bruin; and his brother Jerry Allen Bruin. He is survived by: his son Charles William Bruin II; his sister Judy Carol Bruin-Thomas; his nephew Michael Grizzle; his niece Nikki Thomas; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ryan Grizzle (Katelin), Kaden Grizzle, Jared Grizzle, Logan Grizzle, Lilly Grizzle and Jensyn Grizzle; and also Kasen Grizzle.
