With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carol Spurlin (DeJarnette) Knaus of Georgetown, Kentucky, born in Richmond, Kentucky, who passed away on April 6, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her sister Dr. Martha Grise. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Knaus; her children, Jeffrey and Julie DeJarnette; her grandchildren, Natalie DeJarnette (Bryan Belanger), Amelia DeJarnette (Peter Humphreys), Kristin Smothermon (Drew Cole) and Logan Smothermon; her great grandchild Jack; her sister Barbara Perkins; her niece Jane Carol Thacker; and her friend Wanda Gaston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and a host of loving friends.
