He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Hampton and Delilah Gardner Bailey; and his siblings, Nora Lee Rodgers, Ethel Henderson, Roscoe "Rocky", Tom, John, Carrick and Roland Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Morrison Bailey; his children, Sherry Johnson and Matthew Hall Bailey (Joann); his sisters, Bonnie Morrison, Margie Bratton and Nancy King; his grandchildren, Bridgette Burgess (Jesse), Ashley Blackburn, Daniel Johnson, Amanda Osborne, Chase Bailey, Gage Bailey and Shelby Bailey; and his great grandchildren, Emma Burgess, Jimmy Burgess and Axel Burgess. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bluegrass Hospice Care.
