It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Boneva Reed Stapleton of Georgetown, Kentucky, who passed away on June 12, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonza Reed and Beulah Lemaster Reed; her husband Francis "Bus" Steven Stapleton; her daughter Bonnie Susan Howard; and her siblings, Herschel Reed, Arnold Reed, Edward Reed, David Reed and Adaline Fannin.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Craten Stapleton of St. Louis, Missouri, Brenda Lynn Pappas of Flat Gap and Sheila Frances Trent (Robert) of Georgetown, Kentucky; and her siblings, Jimmy Reed of Orlando, Danny Reed (Bobbie) of Greensboro, Sammy Reed (Jewel) of Oil Springs, Kentucky, Helen Kelley (Jack) of Flat Gap, Kentucky and Judy Bowen (Woody) of Flat Gap, Kentucky. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
