He was predeceased by: his mother Naomi Summers Boshears; his stepmother Leora Boshears; and his grandparents, Joe Riley, Lola Lay Boshears, Bill and Ruth Sellers Summers.
He is survived by: his son Bobby Joe Boshears, Jr.; his father Melvin Boshears; his siblings, David (Tammy Jordan Boshears), Casey (Melissa Johnson Boshears), Rick (Jackie Boshears), Tammy Boshears Berry (John) and Lisa Boshears (Lucy); and his uncle Elmer Summers.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, February 5th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Bakers Forge Cemetery (2732 Demory Rd, LaFollette, TN 37766).
