Bobby Gene Hammons Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Gene Hammons of Georgetown, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 28, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Goebel Hammons and Zelma Morris Hammons (late Maxine Jo Osborne); his wife Maxine; his siblings, Goebel Hammons, Jr., Paul Hammons, Harold Hammons, Donald Hammons, Billy Hammons, Gerald Hammons and Faye Wright; and his grandsons, Eric Hammons and Jarrod Vance.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Hammons (Debbie) of Georgetown, Glenda Hammons Vance of Georgetown and Tommy Hammons (Cindy) of Georgetown; his sisters, Carolyn Norris and Judy Richardson; his grandchildren, Marianne Curtis, Ryan Vance, Victoria Lanter and Hayden Jump; his great grandchildren, Ariah Vance, Owen Vance, Grant Curtis, Sarah Curtis, Evan Curtis, Jacob Curtis, Joselyn Lanter and Logan Jump; and his caregivers, Ruthie Powers and Tim Miley. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
