He was predeceased by: his son Johnny Lyons; his stepchildren, Karen Lyons, Michael Lyons and Angie Lyons; and his siblings, Luther Lyons, Nellie Fisher, Judy Barker and Opal Mills.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Lyons of Garrison; his children, Paul Joseph Lyons Jr. (Melinda) of South Portsmouth, Jerry Lyons (Sherry) of Firebrick, Jimmy Lyons and Lisa Long (Darrell) of Milton; his stepchildren, Diane Blackburn, Leon Wright and Paul Wright; his sisters, Mary Cluberhouse and Beulah Wilburn; his niece Angie Elliott; and his close friends, Clarence and Richard.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Music Family Funeral Home (224 Main St, Greenup, KY 41144). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
