She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Hicks and Martha Ellen Heaberlin Hicks. She is survived by: her boyfriend James Imel of Garrison; her stepson Nathan Imel (Staci); her stepgrandchildren, Sutton of Argillite, Hudson of Argillite and Jude of Argillite; and her siblings, Rodger Hicks (Frances) of Flatwoods, Charles Hicks of Pontiac, MI, Marvin "Buddy" Hicks (Nora) of East Bernstadt, KY, Ronald Hicks of Grayson, Jack Hicks of Falls Church, VA, Helena Foster of Ashland, Polly Cox (James) of Greenup and Donna Kay White (Darrell) of Lloyd. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
