He is survived by: his daughters, Kim Paino (John Parsons), Jamie Vassar and Christine Vassar (Melvin Godsey); his siblings, Judith Buffalohead (Dwight), Theresa Wise (Johnny) and Stephan Vassar; his grandchildren, James Paino IV, Kaylee Paino, Kyle Widmer, Ashley Vassar (Sandra Smith), Michael Jones (Brett Ilk), Bryce Jones, Kyrsten Jones, Nevaeh Smith, Nicholas Godsey, Chloe Godsey, Colton Godsey, Mason Godsey and Julian Godsey; and his great grandchildren, Zayden Davis and Isaiah Davis.
