He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucian Patton and Minnie Davis Patton; and his siblings, Reva Blevins, Anna Hughes, Betty Thomas, Oma Parsons and Donald Patton.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Sanders Patton of Garrison, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews along with cousins.
