It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Chester Elbert Thayer Jr. (Garrison, Kentucky), who passed away on June 15, 2018, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Chester Thayer; and his grandson Michael Allen Thayer. He is survived by: his parent Daisy Bivens Thayer; his wife Lynda Jo Frye; his children, Chester Thayer III, Sherman D. Thayer, Melissa Jane Blake and Allison Lee Horsley; and his brothers, Jarrell Dean Thayer of Valrico, Gail "Peanut" Thayer and Wayne Thayer. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
