With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles E. Pope of Garrison, Kentucky, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 79. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles E. Pope to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James W. Pope and Hattie McDowell Pope; and his siblings, Robert L. Pope, Donald Pope, James E. Pope Sr., Gladys Mayo, Faye Harlow, Mrytle Wilburn and Lorrine Weller.

He is survived by : his daughters, Shonnia Pope of Greenup and Lometa Smith of Kingston, Ohio; his adoptive daughter Rose Marie Pope of Garrison, Kentucky; his stepdaughter Mary Ison of Garrison, Kentucky; and his siblings, Gary Pope of Grayson, Kentucky, Mary Carper, Christine Boland and Donna Utley. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made towards funeral expenses.
