He was predeceased by: his parents, Amos Raymond Bevens and Gladys Cooper; his former wife Virginia Mosely Bevens; his son Johny Ray Bevens; his grandsons, Michael and Matthew Grigson; and his siblings, Earl R. Bevens, Garnet Bevens, Omah Bevens and Gladys Fairchild.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Bevens; his children, David Bevens (Jodi) of Garrison, KY, Patricia Grigson (Marvin) of Garrison and Blaze Bevens of Garrison; his stepchildren, Julie Burch (Phil) of Wheelersburg, OH, Katrina Lindsley (Craig) of Parma, OH and Jeremy Rawlins (Megan) of Wheelersburg, OH; and his sisters, Catherine Dugan of Garrison, KY and Rosemary Applegate of Vanceburg, KY. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
