He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Wallen and Hazel Smith Wallen; and his brothers, Lawrence Wallen Jr. and Malcolm Wallen. He is survived by: his children, Steve Wallen, Jr., Gregory Lee Wallen (Loretta), Barbara Lynn Kelly (Brian) of Marion, OH, Michelle Renee Lee (John) of Grove City, OH, Jolene Denee Ginther (Steve) of Grove City, OH and Anetia Diann Stansbury (Tony) of Grove City, OH; and his brothers, Shannon Wallen, Garrett and Edward Wallen. He is also survived by twenty five grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren.
