We are sad to announce that on May 18, 2022, at the age of 64, Sheldon Vernal Cox of Garrett, Kentucky, born in McDowell, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Chaffins-Cox and Evelyn Chaffins-Cox. He is survived by: his wife Deidra Cox; his children, Laura Pettit (James) and Aaron Cox (Andrew Gamble); his sisters, Vickie Slone, Phyllis Arellano and Rita Teusch; his grandchildren, Addison, Olivia and Mason; and his sister Friends.
