He was predeceased by: his parents, Kendall Chaffins and Ruth Conley Chaffins; and his siblings, Richard Farrell Chaffins and Patty Lou Crager. He is survived by: his children, Zechariah Willie Chaffins (Jessica Mieko) of Garrett, KY and Ashton Franci Chaffins (Lesia) of Berea, KY; his brother Clarence "Bud" Chaffins; and his grandchild Lily-Drew Karoline Chaffins. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
