He was predeceased by: his father Sam Hannah Conley Ramey; his wife Mary Ann Ramey; his children, Jim Ramey and Charlene Whitehead; his siblings, Tandy Ramey, Orville Ramey, Turner Ramey, Lewis Ramey, John Ramey and Ethel Sharka; and his granddaughter Anna Marie Byers.
He is survived by: his children, Kendall Ramey (Debra) of Colorado, Orville Ramey, Gordon Ramey of Indiana, Gregory Ramey (Charlene) and Anna Sells (Herman) of Garrett, KY; and his brother Ancil Ramey of Eastern, KY. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
