He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hackworth and Francis Ellen Vanderpool Hackworth; and his grandson Kendall "BJ" Hackworth. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary Conley Hackworth; his children, Kennel "Bill" Hackworth (Faith) of Springfield, Kentucky, Shannon Marie Burchett of Garrett, Kentucky and Sheila Dawn Conn of Garrett, Kentucky; his grandchildren, Belinda Spurlock (Drew), Juallena Middleton (Tim), Samantha Goble (Tate), Jonathan Burchett (Breanna), Joey Hackworth, Martyna Wohner (Molly), Cody Burchett, Sean Conn, Pacey Conn, Willow Conn and Benjamin Hackworth (McKenzie); and his siblings, Terry Hackworth of Mt. Sterling, Roy Hackworth of Michigan, Avis Jordan of Michigan, Ollie Martin of Michigan and Sherry Allen of Raven, Kentucky.. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 6:00 PM and on Sunday, January 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Martin (7 Clinic Dr, Martin, KY 41649). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
