It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dempsey Chaffins of Garrett, Kentucky, who passed away on January 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Chaffins and Roxie Bolen Chaffins; his daughter Cildrea Lynn; and his siblings, Arnold, Frank, Ralph Chaffins, Beatrice Moore, Opal Chaffins, Hazel Reed and Glenna Conn.

He is survived by: his wife Ella Faye Clemons Chaffins; and his daughter Saundra Dee Shelton (David) of Winchester, KY..
