She was predeceased by: her parents, Fulton Short and Merthie Thornsberry Short; her husband Buford Coburn; her granddaughters, Kristie Coburn and Cindy Coburn; and her siblings, Vertis Doug Short, Edward Rondal Short, Dennis Short, Bobby Short, Shirley Conley, Jewel Martin, Olgie Short, Bonnie Sue Ramey and Anna Faye Slone.
She is survived by: her son Gary Coburn; her grandchildren, Carla Robinson, Shawna Hagans (Matt) and Donavan Coburn (Amber); her great grandchildren, Cory, Madelyn, Kinley, Lauren, Ashlyn, Bryson, Adelyn and Oakleigh; and her daughter-in-law Oudia Stumbo. She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Nelson-Frazier Funeral Home - Hindman Chapel (125 Parks Rd, Hindman, KY 41822). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM.
