He was predeceased by: his parents, Pearlie Short and Lula Richardson Short. He is survived by: his children, Carolyn Combs (John), Fern Parlier (Michael), Randall Short (Darveda), Maxine Hall (Kalen), Tonya MeadeGrandchildren (Bobby), Carissa Nolasco (Joey), Amy Daley (Matthew), Brandi Sims (Jody), Keaten Combs (Katie), Ryan, Rickey Polly (Debbie), Missy Johnson (Tommy) and Pearlie Short, Jr. (Ann).
