With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joe Dudley Basham of Garfield, Kentucky, born in Lodiburg, Kentucky, who passed away on February 6, 2021 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lucy Pearl Basham and Joe Basham; and his siblings, Garman Ray Basham and Reba Deckard. He is survived by: his wife Sandy Basham; his children, Jo Lee Basham of Hardinsburg and Eric Basham of Garfield; and his granddaughter MaKailye Thomas.
Joe or "Dudley" was a U. S. Army Veteran; worked at Brown & Williamson until they closed; worked at Ft. Knox in the grounds and maintenance department; faithfully attended the Corinth Baptist Church in McQuady; was a member of the DQ & Hardees coffee clubs in Hardinsburg before the COVID pandemic; and loved horses and mules.
