Voris Comer Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Voris Comer of Gamaliel, Kentucky, who passed away on January 25, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mitchell Bob Comer and Dorothy Jewell Comer (Morgan); his wife Betty Lynne Rich; and his stepfather Frank Carlton Comer. He is survived by: his children, Sherrie Butler (Darrell) of Tompkinsville, Pamela Short (Chris) of Glasgow and Terry Comer (Melissa) of Tompkinsville; his siblings, Kathleen Hurd of Hendersonville, Tennessee, Jerry Comer (Cathy) of Gamaliel, Larry Comer (Darlene) of Hermitage Springs and Carl Comer (Shelia) of Tompkinsville; his grandchildren, Brittany Clarkson (Jeromy), Paige Hammer, Bailey, Jade Butler, TJ Williams (Logan), Kayla White (Chris), Hannah Comer (Jordan), Morgan Watson (Dakota), Savannah Lindsay (Casey), Gabby Martin (Zane) and Dillon Short; and his great grandchildren, Jett, Jessup, Oriawna, Olivia, Levi, Liberty, Luke, Paisley, Easton, Ava, Maverick, Haidyn, Raelyn, Benjamin and Emory.
For the protection of Mr. Comer's family, it is kindly asked for everyone coming to the service to abide by Governor Beshear's recommendation of wearing a mask and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family for funeral expenses, and these may be made at the funeral home or mailed to Anderson-Bartley Funeral Home.
